Group Footwear Production and Sales Volume of June 2017

In June, the footwear production volume was 8.4 million pairs, an increase of 1.2 percent compared to the previous month, and 1.6 percent higher than in 2016/06. The footwear sales was 9.0 million pairs, an increase of 10.1 percent compared to the previous month, and 6.0 percent higher than in 2016/06.
In the second quarter, the footwear production was 24.6 million pairs, an increase of 3.4 percent compared to the previous quarter, and 1.4 percent higher than the same period in 2016. The footwear sales was 25.2 million pairs, an increase of 3.6 percent compared to the previous quarter, and 3.0 percent lower than the same period in 2016.
As of June 30, 2017, the footwear production totaled 48.4 million pairs, 3.0 percent higher than the same period in 2016. The footwear sales totaled 49.5 million pairs, 2.8 percent higher than the same period in 2016.
