Winners celebrate & charity delighted at CCISY annual awards

Representatives from housing providers and construction firms across South Yorkshire came together on Friday 12th October to attend the 11th Celebrating Construction in South Yorkshire Awards.

The awards, held at the Cutlers' Hall, Sheffield, were endorsed by the Chartered Institute of Building working in collaboration with Little Spark. The CCISY awards promoted a range of different sectors essential to the delivery of innovative construction, from empowering communities through corporate social responsibility and investing in skills, to creating low carbon developments and being environmentally pro-active.

The awards celebrate the region's commitment to building communities and highlight the broad spectrum of construction excellence delivered by businesses working in the area. They demonstrate what can be achieved through strong partnerships, a clear vision and delivery through high quality implementation.

Since inception eleven years ago, the CCISY awards have been attended by over 150 companies with 3500 guests who have raised over £22,000 for Sheffield Children's Hospital. Hosted by Seth Bennett, the eight winners were presented with their awards by representatives from the category sponsors.
