Earnings season. Oneok and Mosaic are among companies reporting earnings.

Roche makes a $4.8 billion purchase. Swiss pharmaceutical giant Roche has just signed a takeover agreement with US start-up Spark Therapeutics. It is spending $4.8 billion in the transaction, which was validated by the boards of directors of both parties.

Waiting game. AT&T could learn as soon as Tuesday whether it can purchase Time Warner, according to a report from Bloomberg. This would end a long legal battle with US antitrust enforcers over the $85 billion deal.

Trouble in India for Spotify. The Swedish company’s looming launch in India could be delayed. While the streamer is said to be close to deals with Universal and Sony, it is in dispute with Warner around a statutory license for TV and radio broadcasters. Warner filed an injunction in India to stop the launch.

Bamboo Airways makes large order at Boeing. Vietnamese carrier Bamboo Airways is planning to sign an agreement with Boeing this week for the purchase of 10 planes, the company announced yesterday. The carrier placed a provisional order in 2018 for 20 Boeing 787 wide-body jets, which cost $5.6 billion each.

BioPharma gets new owner. General Electric announced on Monday the sale of its biopharmaceutical business to Danaher for $21.4 billion. The transaction will help General Electric to reduce its debt.

Ipsen buys Clementia. French pharmaceutical company Ipsen purchased Canadian group Clementia for $1.3 billion, in a bid to expand its rare-disease portfolio.
