Madrid, August 1st, 2019

This morning, President of Regional Government of Extremadura, Mr. Guillermo Fernández Vara and the President of Solaria, Mr. Enrique Diaz-Tejeiro, have inaugurated the photovoltaic plant 'FV El Baldío' located in Casatejada, Extremadura.

The facility has 53,000 modules and the installed capacity is 20MWp.

The facility will produce 40 GWh per year, equivalent to the consumption of a population of 12,200 and will prevent the emission of 282,800 tons of CO2 over its lifetime.

The plant belongs to the 400MW package whose construction began last December and more specifically this is the first project of the 250MW awarded to Solaria in the Spanish renewables auction of July 2017.

Enrique Díaz-Tejeiro, SOLARIA President: 'I am pleased to inaugurate today the first plant of the 400MW package. The execution of the plant has been exemplary and represents another important milestone to fulfil our 1375MW target by the end of 2020'.
