Fujikura Ltd. (President & CEO: Masahiko Ito) has joined RE100 * 2, an initiative led by international NGO, The Climate Group* 1, in partnership with CDP.
RE100 is an initiative that aims to convert the electric power used in business activities into 100% renewable electricity, and 204 companies (as of October 7, 2019) are affiliated around the world.
We have established the 'Fujikura Group Long-Term Environmental Vision 2050' * 3, which includes zero CO2 emissions from business activities by 2050. Renewable electricity, taking advantage of this RE100 membership Will accelerate the achievement of the long-term vision and contribute to the mitigation of climate change risk, which is an issue of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) * 4.

Target: 100% by 2050
Intermediate target: 90% by 2040

A long-term vision established by the Fujikura Group in 2016, including 'Four Challenges' aimed at minimizing environmental impacts with an eye to the future of 2050.
