NOVEMBER 4 - HOUSTON - Phillips 66, an energy manufacturing and logistics company, has pledged a donation of $150,000 to the American Red Cross to aid in relief efforts for the ongoing California Wildfires. This donation is critical to meet the immediate needs of those displaced from their homes.

'The Red Cross has a vast established network of resources and skilled teams,' said Jay Churchill, Phillips 66 senior vice president, Health, Safety and Environment, and Projects, and American Red Cross of Greater Houston board member. 'It is our hope that this contribution will help assist the Red Cross in bringing aid to the many Californians in need.'

'We want to thank Phillips 66 for the constant support of Red Cross efforts to alleviate human suffering wherever it may be. Their display of social responsibility is second to none and their generosity will enable volunteers to meet the needs of the families devasted by these most recent fires in California,' said Henry Van de Putte, regional Chief Executive Officer for the Texas Gulf Coast of the American Red Cross.

The deadly wildfires taking place in northern and southern California are forcing hundreds of thousands of people to evacuate. The American Red Cross is on the ground working with partners to provide shelter, food and comfort for people forced to leave their homes with little notice. Phillips 66's donation will help provide safe refuge, hot meals, health services and other support for affected residents. The Red Cross depends on financial donations to fund its relief services.
