CHANGE OF COMPANY SECRETARY AND AUTHORIZED

REPRESENTATIVE

The People's Insurance Company (Group) of China Limited (the "Company") announces that:

1. The term of office of Ms. Tai Chi Shan Psyche（"Ms. Tai"）as the company secretary of the Company (the "Company Secretary") and one of the authorized representatives (the "Authorized Representative") of the Company under Rule 3.05 of the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited will come to an end on 31 December 2019. Ms. Tai had confirmed that she had no disagreement with the board of the Company (the "Board") and there were no other matters in respect of her cessation to act for the above-mentioned positions that need to be brought to the attention of the shareholders of the Company; and
2. Ms. Ng Sau Mei ("Ms. Ng") has been appointed by the Board as the Company Secretary and the Authorized Representative with effect from 1 January 2020.

The biographical details of Ms. Ng are as follows:

Ms. Ng is an associate director of the Listing Services Department of TMF Hong Kong Limited (an international corporate services provider). Ms. Ng has over 18 years of professional experience in the company secretarial industry, and is responsible for providing corporate secretarial and compliance services to listed company clients. Ms. Ng obtained a Bachelor Degree in Laws from City University of Hong Kong and a Master Degree in Laws from University of London in the UK, and is a fellow member of the Hong Kong Institute of Chartered Secretaries and the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators in the UK.

The Board would like to take this opportunity to express its sincere gratitude to Ms. Tai for her valuable contributions to the Company during her tenure of office as the Company Secretary and to extend our warm welcome to Ms. Ng for her roles in the Company.
