En + Group Introduces Further Measures to Protect Employees from Coronavirus

16 March 2020 - En+ Group, a leading vertically integrated aluminium and power producer, announces the introduction of a set of measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus at its operational facilities. From March 17, 2020, the company will introduce distance working. All employees whose duties can be performed remotely are instructed to working from home.

Work in the office is allowed only in exceptional circumstances to perform tasks that cannot be solved remotely. Everyone currently on a business trip has been instructed to return home immediately. On-duty staff who need to work in the offices are being provided with a full range of virus protection tools.

Only employees engaged in maintaining necessary ongoing operations will be permitted to work at our operational facilities. Where this is unavoidable, the company will take all necessary measures to ensure the maximum protection for production personnel. Additional disinfection will be carried out at all facilities, medical and paramedic rooms.

Vladimir Kiryukhin, CEO of En + Group:

The company is taking the spread of coronavirus in the country very seriously. We believe that structured actions are needed immediately. I am confident that the steps that we are taking today will ensure as much protection for our employees as possible while maintaining our production and an uninterrupted supply of electricity to our consumers.
