ADVANCE ANNOUNCEMENT IN RELATION TO THE CONVENING OF THE 2019 ANNUAL RESULTS BRIEFING

1. TYPE OF BRIEFING
   The Company has convened the seventeenth meeting of the eighth session of the Board on 30 March 2020 to consider and approve, among others, the "Resolution
   on the Proposal for Distribution of Profit for the Year of 2019 of Jiangxi Copper Company Limited" 《( 江 西 銅 業 股 份 有 限 公 司 關 於2019 年 利 潤 分 配 方 案 的 議 案》). For details, please refer to the results announcements of the Company for the year ended 31 December 2019 dated 30 March 2020 published on the website of the Stock Exchange (www.hkexnews.hk) and the "Announcement in relation to the Distribution of Profit for the Year of 2019 of Jiangxi Copper Company Limited" dated 31 March 2020 published on the website of SSE (www.sse.com.cn) (Announcement No.: Lin 2020-009).

Pursuant to the provisions of the "Guidelines for Cash Dividend Distribution of Shanghai Stock Exchange-Listed Companies" 《( 上 海 證 券 交 易 所 上 市 公 司 現 金 分 紅 指 引 》) and the "Notice on Advancement of Convening of the Investors Briefing of Listed Companies" 《( 關 於 推 進 上 市 公 司 召 開 投 資 者 說 明 會 工 作 的 通 知 》), in order to provide investors with a more comprehensive and better understanding of the Company's status, the Company has decided to convene the Briefing to fully communicate with investors on its operating results, profit distribution proposal and other issues that investors are concerned with.

   The Briefing will be convened at 16:00 p.m.-17:00 p.m. on Wednesday, 15 April 2020 by way of online interaction communication through the "SSE e-Interview" column on the "SSE E-interaction" Platform (http://sns.sseinfo.com).

   Participants of the Company include Mr. Yu Tong, chief financial officer of the Company; Mr. Lv Jinhai, deputy general manager of the finance management department; and Mr. Lu Gaoming, deputy head of the secretariat of the Board.
