Sberbank of Russia : Sofia Ivanova to head Sberbank’s press office

May 29, 2020, Moscow - Sberbank is announcing the appointment of Sofia Ivanova as the head of the press office.

Prior to joining Sberbank, Sofia Ivanova had been successfully heading Kalashnikov GC's department of marketing and communications for three years. During her tenure, the image of the iconic trademark known all over the globe was changed fundamentally and the Russian industry's first media platform called Kalashnikov Media was created. Ms. Ivanova's other responsibilities with the GC included corporate reputation, relations with domestic and overseas partners, and digital efforts.

Before that, Sofia Ivanova had been PR Director at Rambler&Co overseeing communications of the group's largest media projects and services, such as Lenta.ru, Gazeta.ru, Rambler.ru, LiveJournal.com, Championat.com, etc.

Sofia Ivanova has more than ten years of experience in communications. In 2015 she won a Media Manager of Russia award. In the past five years, she's been ranked among the Top 1,000 Russian managers by the Kommersant daily. In 2016, she topped the ranking of PR and corporate relations directors in the Media Business category. She graduated from the State University of Management with a degree in state and municipal management.
