READING, Pa. (AP) _ EnerSys (ENS) on Monday reported a fiscal fourth-quarter loss of $1.5 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.

The Reading, Pennsylvania-based company said it had a loss of 4 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were $1.11 per share.

The maker of industrial batteries posted revenue of $781.8 million in the period.

For the year, the company reported profit of $137.1 million, or $3.20 per share. Revenue was reported as $3.09 billion.

EnerSys shares have dropped 13% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Monday, shares hit $65.24, an increase of 12% in the last 12 months.
