--EU antitrust authorities have raised competition concerns on the agreed purchase of GrandVision NV by Ray-Ban and Oakley owner EssilorLuxottica SA, the FT reports, citing unnamed sources.

--The European Commission has issued a "charge sheet" which details its concerns over a potential reduction in competition in the wholesale market for eyewear and lenses as well as in the retail supply of optical products arising from the deal, according to the FT.
