Lowe's Cos. on Tuesday said it named Janice Dupre Little executive vice president of human resources.

Ms. Little has been serving as interim head of human resources since Jennifer Weber left the Mooresville, N.C., home-improvement retailer in April.

Ms. Little, who joined Lowe's in 2017, had been serving as senior vice president of diversity and talent management.

Lowe's in April said it had parted ways with Ms. Weber, its head of human resources for four years, and that her departure would be treated as a termination without cause, resulting in $2.5 million in severance pay.
