China Evergrande : Contracted Sales Rose 51% in June

China Evergrande Group said Wednesday that its contracted property sales for June rose 51% to 76.05 billion yuan ($10.76 billion).

China Evergrande, one of China's largest developers, said its cash collection was CNY75.69 billion in June, up 60% from a year earlier. Meanwhile, it launched 28 new projects last month.

For the first half of the year, the company's contracted sales increased 24% to CNY348.84 billion, while cash collection for the period jumped 67% to CNY312.0 billion, it said.
