Central Puerto S A : certifies compliance with sanitary protocols in its operations

The company was certified by Bureau Veritas Argentina, for carrying out its operations in compliance with current regulations related to the treatment of the COVID-19 pandemic and the prevention of its spread

Buenos Aires, June 30, 2020 - Thanks to its compliance with the protocols and requirements indicated by the national and local legislations and regulations, Central Puerto, a leading company in the production of electric energy in Argentina, obtained certifications granted by Bureau Veritas Argentina.

These documents certify that the sites where Central Puerto operates have been evaluated, and it has been determined that they comply with the provisions of the hygiene and safety standards for the prevention of the corona-virus pandemic. These measures play a fundamental role in the protection of the essential personnel that operates the generation units, and thus ensure the reliable supply to the national electric system.

'During this critical situation, Central Puerto works with responsibility and commitment to guarantee the production of electric energy without interruption, for the electric system and for society while, at the same time, complies with sanitary policies. These certifications are a recognition of the work we have done throughout the company,' said Jorge Rauber, Chief Executive Officer of Central Puerto.

The certification was approved for all Central Puerto and its subsidiaries' plants, located in the provinces of Buenos Aires, Córdoba, Mendoza, Neuquén, Río Negro, Santa Fe, and the City of Buenos Aires.

Central Puerto and its subsidiaries will continue to apply the safety and hygiene protocols for the prevention of the pandemic of COVID-19 with the aim of minimizing the possibility of contagion of its personnel and the community.
