On 4 May, our teams were able to resume the installation of 100 smart sensors on the LED streetlights in the town's Martinet district - a project initially launched on 9 March 2020.

These sensors will enable pedestrian presence to be detected and light flow intensity stepped up while they pass. Conversely, lighting will be reduced to 20% of rated power when the street is empty.

In compliance with the energy consumption reduction programme launched in 2016, this project will enable the town's street lighting to be optimized and light pollution limited.

Our teams aim to finish the operation on the target date initially scheduled: 29 May 2020.
