The pizza-hiring party is continuing with Papa John's seeking to hire 10,000 more workers nationally and Domino's set to take on 2,000 more in Atlanta, according to separate press releases.

Papa John's, which said it recently hired 20,000 team members, will add another 10,000 employees over the next few months. To sweeten the pot, the Louisville, Kentucky-based brand said it was also growing its college tuition benefit program, "Dough & Degrees," by adding Southern New Hampshire University and University of Maryland Global Campus as partners. They join Purdue University Global in offering Papa John's corporate and franchise team members, as well as their immediate family members, significantly reduced college tuition options.

"We want to make it quick and simple for team members to join Papa John's and immediately begin earning an income. An added benefit is access to a long-term pathway toward sustained personal and professional growth," Marvin Boakye, Papa John's chief people and diversity officer said in the release.

Team members can choose from a variety of undergraduate and graduate programs in various fields of study across the three institutions. All coursework is done online through each school's programs. Franchise team members may access some program options that are priced around $2,500 each semester, with low- or no-cost material fees for most, the brand said.

Papa John's did not detail where its 10,000 hires were being sought, nor which positions, but Domino's plans to bring on 2,000 workers across 144 stores throughout the Greater Atlanta area, according to the release. The positions include delivery drivers, assistant managers and managers.

"Domino's works hard to serve local communities across the country and this area is no different," said Mike Orcutt, an Atlanta-area Domino's franchise owner. "The increased demand for deliveries has amplified the need for additional team members. Stores across the region are continuing to provide pizza to those who are looking for a delicious, hot meal, and at times like this, staffing is critical."

Domino's has more than 17,100 stores in over 90 markets. The brand is based in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
