Communications services companies fell as investors expressed disappointment with Bob Iger's revamp of Walt Disney.

Disney shares tumbled after the entertainment conglomerate said its streaming unit generated an $18 million loss in the March quarter, an improvement from a $659 million loss a year earlier, but still short of some investors' expectations.

Shares of Paramount Global gave back some of their recent gains.
