Earnings season. In Europe, Royal Dutch Shell, Unilever, Roche, Diageo, BT Group and Nokia. In the United States, Amazon, Mastercard, DowDupont, United Parcel Service, Altria or General Electric are among companies reporting earnings.

Spying through Facetime. New York State has opened an investigation into Apple's Facetime application after revelations of a major security breach that allows some users to be listened to or even filmed without their knowledge.

No European champion? The Financial Times believes that the merger between Alstom and Siemens Mobility is heading straight for a European veto. Yesterday, the German conglomerate explained, in addition to its results, that it was working on alternative solutions in the event of the project's rejection.

Cyber-crime. Airbus has revealed that it has been the target of a cyber attack, which will have no impact on its business activities. A few days earlier, the engineering group Altran had also revealed that it had been the victim of a major computer attack.

Elliott is strengthening its position in TI. Elliott has increased its stake in Telecom Italia from 8.8 to 9.4%, according to an official notice. The battle with Vivendi continues.
