Air France-KLM has reported better-than-expected second-quarter results, with operating income up 90% to 733 million euros, against a backdrop of strong demand for air travel. CFO Steven Zaat reported that demand showed no sign of abating, with bookings for the 2nd half even higher than in the 1st quarter. He also spoke of the group's refocusing on Transavia, its interest in buying TAP, and the cargo business.
