Akatsuki Inc. reported consolidated earnings results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2019. For the quarter, the company reported net sales of JPY 6,763 million compared to JPY 4,737 million a year ago. Operating profit was JPY 2,463 million compared to JPY 1,441 million a year ago. Ordinary profit was JPY 2,423 million compared to JPY 1,413 million a year ago. Profit was JPY 1,597 million compared to JPY 980 million a year ago. Profit per share was JPY 115.18 compared to JPY 70.92 a year ago. Diluted profit per share was JPY 109.56 compared to JPY 67.33 a year ago.
Akatsuki Inc. is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the mobile game business and live experience (LX) business in the entertainment area. The Company has a single segment of the mobile game business. The Mobile Game business is engaged in the provision of mobile games in the platform operated by Japan social networking service (SNS) operator, as well as app market provided by Apple Inc., Google Inc. and other companies.
