FTSE SMALL CAP - WINNERS

Class Editori does best of all and takes the top spot on the list rising 10 percent to EUR0.08 per share. The stock continues the positive trend that has seen it rally 5.0 percent in the last month, 24 percent in the last six months, and 4.8 percent in the last year.

SIT does well, up 4.8% to EUR2.18 per share. The company said it will present, at the MCE - Mostra Convegno Expocomfort exhibition from March 12 to 15 in Milan, its new residential heat pump fan developed in synergy with Panasonic Industry, a leader in HVAC - Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning technologies.

FTSE SMALL CAP - LOSERS

algoWatt sits on the bottom and gives up about 20 percent to EUR0.165. The company said Wednesday that it was not aware of any events or news that may have triggered the stock's recent movements on the Milan Stock Exchange.

"In relation to the performance of the stock on the Stock Exchange in recent sessions and in order to properly inform the market, algoWatt communicates that it is still awaiting the pronouncement of the Court of Milan regarding the request for an extension of the deadline granted for the filing of a final proposal for a group arrangement with creditors or an application for homologation of group debt restructuring agreements," the company explained.

The stock in the last five sessions, has given up 30 percent. Between yesterday and today alone, the stock has given up 25 percent.
