Quality inspection workshop of 273 continuous rolling line won the championship in the 6S management assessment of March

In order to comprehensively improve the site managementlevel and improve the quality of the staff, our company has normalized the 6Ssite management and established a team to promote the 6S management. Throughthe efforts of recent years, 6S management achieved fruitful results. Sitemanagement level, quality of the staff and out-looking of the mill have beencontinuously improved and enhanced.

In order to enhance the 6S management job, all the separateworkshops are divided to appraisal units and scores are given to each unitaccording to detailed checking. Checking and assessment will be conducted twicea month and the problems found will be photographed and listed in a sheet andthen put on the 6S white-board. The scores of each workshop will also be shownon the white-board o that the staff in each workshop can see its own rankingand know its shortage. To make the staff really understand the 6S managementactivity is very important and urgent for the improvement of the company's sitemanagement level.
