Music streaming service WiMP today launches its commercial version in Poland, after experiencing an immense popularity of its beta version. WiMP simultaneously also opens its second partnership in Poland with mobile operator Play, following the already live cooperation with pay-tv provider atform n.

WiMP initiated its beta version at the European Music Fair in late November and the designated limit of free accounts was exceeded after only a month of activity. A survey conducted amongst its beta users saw over 2 000 peoe answering, of which 97% were satisfied with the service and 95% declared their willingness to use the service in the future.

Today, WiMP opens the commercial version in Poland, with three versions of the product, the free and ad-free limited test version available on desktop computers, WiMP Basic with unlimited access for desktop computers at 9,99 PLN and WiMP Premium with mobile access for 19,99 PLN.

"We are very optimistic about today's commercial launch of WiMP as well as the future development of our service in Poland. We are very eased with the consumer survey's results of WiMP's beta phase, which were one of the highest in Europe. We managed to gain strong business partners, such as the digital atform n and network operator Play, Thus we have a strong reason to believe that, such as in other countries, we will achieve a great success in Poland," said Adrian Ciepicha
