Atlassian Corp. reported a loss but revenue increased 26% for the first quarter of its fiscal year.
Atlassian reported a loss of $21.6 million, or a loss of 9 cents a share. The company logged a $27.5 million non-cash charge.
For the comparable quarter a year prior, the company's profit was $69.3 million, or 28 cents a share.
Adjusted earnings were 30 cents a share. According to FactSet, analysts were expecting 27 cents a share.
Revenue rose 26% to $459.5 million. Analysts were expecting $440.4 million.
The company added over 8,600 net new customers, co-Chief Executive and cofounder Scott Farquhar said in prepared remarks.
