Badger Meter, Inc. announced the promotions of William Parisen to Vice President - Global Operations and Karen Bauer to Vice President - Investor Relations, Corporate Strategy and Treasurer. Parisen replaces Raymond Serdynski, Vice President - Manufacturing, who retired from Badger Meter effective May 31, 2019 after more than 30 years of dedicated and distinguished service. Parisen joined Badger Meter in August 2018 as Senior Director - Supply Chain and has worked alongside Serdynski and the supply chain organization institutionalizing SQDC (safety, quality, delivery, cost) processes and metrics, instilling a continuous improvement mindset and enhancing supply chain processes. His prior experience, most recently with Actuant Corporation, included a variety of global operations, lean manufacturing and world-class supply chain roles of increasing responsibility across multiple industries and geographies. Bauer, who joined Badger Meter in July 2018 as Director, Investor Relations & Corporate Strategy, will continue to oversee the company's engagement with the investor community and the strategic planning process. In addition, she will serve as Treasurer and lead Badger Meter’s ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) initiatives in this expanded role. Her prior experience includes a variety of accounting, finance, investor relations, communications, strategy and M&A roles at Actuant Corporation, Johnson Controls, Inc. and Price Waterhouse.
