Bank of Beirut hosts a Live webinar in partnership with Clearing Agents and Freight Forwarders on Port of Beirut Fresh Payment Solutions
In partnership with the Syndicate of Licensed Clearing Agents in Lebanon and the Lebanese Forwarders Syndicate, Bank of Beirut hosted a live webinar exploring Port of Beirut Fresh Dollar electronic payment solution in addition to an array of Business Banking services tailored for merchants, businesses and companies.

The online event that took place on March 31st, 2022, featured Head of Transaction Banking at Bank of Beirut Fred Khoury who shared with the attendees business banking online solutions granting an added value for their business. The full array of online banking solutions offered by Bank of Beirut includes the port of Beirut payment service and as well as the option of issuing banker's cheques to the order of the customs.

Khoury explained that companies, merchants and clearing agents can settle their Port of Beirut payments and bills online and in Fresh USD without the need to visit the Bank. He added that, the Port will be instantly notified about the payment so that the imported goods can be cleared and delivered instantly. Moreover, this service allows its users to track their transactions online, delegate employees to issue payments with full control over operations as well as issue cheques online to the order of the customs.
