Reference is made to the announcements of the Bank dated April 22, 2016, April 29, 2016, June 17, 2016, April 11, 2017, May 26, 2017, March 16, 2018, April 10, 2018, May 25, 2018, June 11, 2018, June 15, 2018, April 9, 2019, May 22, 2019, May 24, 2019, October 25, 2019, December 9, 2019, March 27, 2020, April 1, 2020 and May 13, 2020, and circulars of the Bank dated May 31, 2016, April 11, 2017, May 4, 2018, April 30, 2019, November 21, 2019 and April 20, 2020 in relation to A Share Offering and other related matters of the Bank. The Bank is pleased to announce that the Issuance Approval Committee of the China Securities Regulatory Commission (the "CSRC") reviewed the application of the Bank for the A Share Offering today. According to the result of the review, the Bank's application for the A Share Offering has been approved.

Currently, the Bank has not received the written approval from the CSRC. The Bank will make further announcement upon receipt of the official approval from the CSRC.

The Bank will make further announcement(s) regarding the material progress of the A Share Offering as and when appropriate in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

Given that the A Share Offering is subject to approval by the CSRC and other relevant regulatory authorities and may or may not proceed, shareholders and potential investors of the Bank shall exercise caution when dealing in the securities of the Bank.
