Milestone Group plc announced the appointment of Mr. Paul Elliott CBE as the Sports and Corporate Social Responsibility Ambassador. Paul has been an Ambassador for Milestone's sports based OnSide project since April 2011 but will now be formally joining Milestone Group as a member of the Advisory Board. Paul's role will focus on introducing and promoting Milestone's community and sports based initiatives to key stakeholders in relevant marketplaces both nationally and internationally.

Paul has represented England internationally, starting his football career at Charlton and also played for Celtic, Aston Villa, Chelsea and the Italian side, Pisa. Paul currently sits on the Diversity and Inclusion Board for LOCOG, the Board of Trustees for the Professional Footballers Association (PFA) and is a Board member for the UEFA Football committee as well as being a Special Adviser for the Equality and Human Rights commission (EHRC) on equality and diversity in football, nationally and internationally. Paul was also an ambassador and Executive Board member for England's bid for the 2018 World Cup.

Paul has campaigned in excess of 20 years for equality in football and is the current Director and Trustee for the anti-discrimination group Kick It Out. Paul is also a member of the Premier League Community Board.
