China Green Holdings Ltd. provided earnings guidance for the six months ended October 31, 2012. For the period, the group is expecting to record a decrease in net profit as compared to that recorded for the corresponding period in 2011. The expected decrease in net profit was mainly attributable to the slow recovery of the global economy, the increase in the agricultural raw materials and labour costs, and the decrease in demand from Japan, one of key markets for the group's fresh produce and processed products, due to the continuous and increasing diplomatic tension between China and Japan.
