DBAG Fund VIII managed by Deutsche Beteiligungs AG (XTRA:DBAN) will acquire an unknown majority stake and Luxempart S.A. (BDL:LXMPR) along with management will acquire an unknown minority stake in MTW Holding S.p.A from Bravo Capital Partners SCA RAIF managed by Bravo Invest Srl and others on May 16, 2022. Completion of the purchase agreement is scheduled for the current second quarter. White & Case LLP has advised funds managed by BlackRock Investment Management (UK) Limited on the financing of the acquisition of MTW Holding S.p.A., a leading metal accessories manufacturer group for luxury fashion products, through the issuance by Metalworks Bidco S.p.A. of senior secured floating rate notes by Deutsche Beteiligungs AG through its DBAG Fund VIII. Mediobanca Banca di Credito Finanziario S.p.A. (BIT:MB) acted as a sell side financial advisor to the shareholders of MTWH. Manfred Müller of Linklaters LLP acted as legal advisor to Deutsche Beteiligungs AG (XTRA:DBAN).
