The board of A.P. Eagers Limited announced the appointment of Greg Duncan and David Blackhall as independent non-executive directors, effective December 6, 2019. Greg Duncan is a highly regarded automotive retailer with a wealth of experience in the automotive and investment sectors. As owner and executive chairman, Greg led the Trivett Automotive Group to become the large prestige automotive retailer in Australia. He was also the founding chairman of Cox Automotive Australia and continues in that role, and is currently a partner of advisory and investment business JWT Bespoke. David Blackhall brings over half a century of automotive industry experience and expertise to the AP Eagers board. He has worked for manufacturers, commencing as a graduate and rising to managing director level. David has direct dealership experience as a dealer principal and owner of numerous franchises, and is a former chief executive of the Australian Automotive Dealer Association. As a chartered accountant and managing director of Raglan Ridge Advisors, David has a strong background in finance, corporate strategy and marketing. Greg and David were both directors of Automotive Holdings Group Ltd. until its recent merger with AP Eagers.
