Annual event highlights collaboration, performance and excellence of partners.

Collaboration and resilience have been fundamental to efficiency and value generation for the aeronautical industry

Embraer today recognized the best suppliers of the year across 10 categories in an awards ceremony held during its annual strategic alignment conference with supply chain representatives - the Embraer Suppliers Conference (ESC). The event highlighted the collaboration, performance, quality, and excellence of these partners who contributed to the company's results last year.

'We strongly believe that collaboration and resilience in connection with safety first and quality always are the foundations of our supply chain. I sincerely appreciate the suppliers who have demonstrated these values, working consistently to deliver efficiency and generate value for our companies and our industry,' said Roberto Chaves, Executive Vice-President of Global Procurement and Supply Chain at Embraer.

In this ESC edition, Embraer introduced the status of 'Preferred Supplier' to the awarded companies which will also be eligible to be part of Embraer Suppliers Advisory Council (ESAC), an advisory group that promotes the debate on main trends and strategic topics, strengthening alliances to leverage business opportunities with the company.

During the conference it was also announced the new organizational structure of the Vice Presidency of Global Procurement and Supply Chain. This reorganization will create a more integrated and cohesive approach to suppliers' management and, as such, align the strategy of developing a robust and more resilient supply chain, strengthen Embraer's business efficiency and accelerate business growth in a sustainable manner.

Embraer's supply chain management connects the company's business needs with an extensive and complex base of suppliers located in more than 60 countries. To this end, the company has a global purchasing policy that establishes guidelines for the acquisition of goods, services, and industrialization of products within the highest standards of ethics, sustainability, transparency, and compliance.
