FireAngel announced that it has been selected as one of the official suppliers of smoke alarms and associated products to the UK's Fire and Rescue Service ('UK F&RS') for the next four years, via a new framework agreement with the West Midlands Fire and Rescue Authority ('WMFRA'). This continues FireAngel's long standing relationship with UK F&RS and is the second time the Group has been included in WMFRA's supplier framework agreement. WMFRA acts as the co-ordinator of suppliers for the whole of the UK F&RS, meaning all local authorities in the UK order their fire safety supplies through WMFRA. The new framework agreement, which begins in June 2021, further strengthens FireAngel's existing strategic relationship with the WMFRA and the UK F&RS. Following rigorous price, quality and social impact evaluations by WMFRA, FireAngel and its products to be supplied under the framework agreement were found to meet or exceed supplier requirements. The products include the Group's stand-alone smoke alarms, heat alarms and carbon monoxide alarms; wireless Connected Homes smoke alarms, which are an increasingly key part of FireAngel's offering and central to its strategic growth plan; and smart homes technology, another growing focus for FireAngel, which sees data from homes uploaded to a Cloud based system that can then be used to assess risk.
