First National Bank of Botswana Limited Appoints Steven Lefentse Bogatsu to the Position of Chief Executive Officer, Effective May 1, 2015

First National Bank of Botswana announced the appointment of Mr. Steven Lefentse Bogatsu to the position of Chief Executive Officer of the Bank effective May 1, 2015. Steven brings with him a wealth of banking experience gained from his leadership positions both locally and abroad. He joins FNB Botswana from FNB Swaziland where he held the position of Chief Executive Officer.

Steven's role will be to provide strategic direction and leadership focus for the Bank. He will be fully accountable to the Board and Shareholders on the performance of the business. Prior to joining the FNB Group, Steven trained at Ernst & Young, worked at Kgalagadi Breweries as Group Internal Auditor, Management Accountant and Project Accountant, Barclays Africa Finance as a Financial & Business Analyst and Stanbic Bank Botswana as Chief Financial Officer.
