Yesterday evening, video game group Focus Entertainment published sales figures for the third quarter of its 2023/24 financial year, which it deemed 'unsurprising'.

Revenues for the three months to the end of December came to 43.3 million euros, down 43%, as anticipated and announced at the time of publication of the half-year results.

For the first nine months of the year as a whole, Focus posted sales of 128.3 million euros, down 9% on the first nine months of the previous year.

In a reaction note, Euroland's analysts highlight a performance "in line" with their expectations, leading them to maintain their buy recommendation and price target of 27 euros.

In important news, Focus Entertainment has announced its intention to change its corporate name on February 28, with the adoption of a new umbrella brand, 'PulluP Entertainment'.

This change, which is to be accompanied by a new organization, is intended to accelerate the organic growth, profitability and cash flow generation of the group's three core businesses, it adds.

The company points out that the end of the 2023/24 financial year should be marked by major launches, including the release of 'Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden' on February 13 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Séries XS and PC.

Following all these announcements, the share gained 2% on Friday on the Paris Bourse, but was still down over the past 12 months.
