NEW YORK, Aug. 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Fresh Harvest Products, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: FRHV) announced today that Fresh Harvest has executed an agreement to represent and grow a natural and biodegradable branded line of patent pending bioremediation products. The Company will initially offer these products to supermarkets chains, food processing facilities and throughout the hospitality industry, including restaurants, cafeterias and hotels where these types of products have many useful applications.

"As a continuation of our core values, we are excited to be taking a step toward expanding our initiative to build natural and organic brands and products by signing an Agreement to manage, market, and distribute a branded line of eco-friendly products in the bioremediation space. We believe in the products, their unique technology, and the positive impact on the environment as a replacement to harmful and noxious products," said Dominick Cingari, Chief Operating Officer.

"We have worked to make sure that the product holds up to our high eco-friendly standards and we believe that it has the potential to increase our revenues in fiscal 2009, while requiring minimal additional overhead," he continued. Fresh Harvest is expanding our operations to include partnerships and alliances in both natural and organic food and other environmentally friendly products.

As companies strive to "go green," eco-friendly alternatives are actively being sought out for products these industries are already using. These patent-pending products are intended to replace harmful chemicals and acids with environmentally-friendly, biodegradable and non-toxic compounds that are effective in treating a variety of applications, including grease traps, wastewater, and septic tanks. Bioremediation can be defined as any process that uses microorganisms, fungi, green plants or their enzymes to return the natural environment altered by contaminants to its original condition. Use of these products is expected to save our customers money in several ways: first the product is generally less expensive and second using these products reduces the maintenance costs of the traps themselves and the pipes; as well as having certain patent pending attributes to effectively reduce the amount of grease in grease traps.

Prior to the execution of this agreement, we began a market test with some of Fresh Harvest's existing customers, including a supermarket chain and several cafe's. This test is still ongoing; however, preliminary results are favorable. Due to a Confidentiality Clause in the Agreement, Fresh Harvest will not be releasing the bioremediation company's name at this time.
