DEREGISTRATION OF SUBSIDIARIES

The Board of Directors of GP Batteries International Limited (the "Company", together with its subsidiaries, the "Group") wishes to announce that Bolder Technologies Pte Ltd, GP Batteries (Dongguan) Co Ltd and GP Online Business Limited, being dormant subsidiaries of the Group, have been deregistered.

The above transaction is not expected to have any impact on the Group's earnings per share and net tangible assets per share for the current financial year ending 31 March 2017.

None of the Directors or controlling shareholders of the Company has any interest, direct or indirect (other than through their shareholdings in the Company), in the above transaction.
