Gaztransport et Technigaz Appoints Julien Burdeau as Chief Operating Officer

Gaztransport et Technigaz announced that its Board of Directors met on October 14th and appointed Julien Burdeau as Chief Operating Officer of the company, following the proposal of Philippe Berterottiere, Chairman of the Board and CEO. Julien Burdeau joined GTT in 2013 as Vice President, in charge of Innovation, a position he will retain.

Gaztransport & Technigaz is the world's leader in designing cryogenic membrane containment systems used for the marine transport and Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) storage. Net sales in 2023 break down by source of income as follows: - collection of fees (91%): income from the construction of LNG tankers (90.7% of net sales in 2023), LNG-powered ships (7.6%), land-based reservoirs of LNG storage (1.1%) and floating LNG production, storage and offloading units (0.6%); - sales of services (6.6%): engineering, consulting, training, assistance to the maintenance and technical studies implementation services; - sales of hydrogen (2.4%).
