DELAY IN DESPATCH OF

CIRCULAR IN RELATION TO DISCLOSEABLE AND

CONNECTED TRANSACTIONS DISPOSAL OF PROPERTIES

Reference is made to the announcement of Haitong Unitrust International Financial Leasing Co., Ltd. (the "Company") dated March 30, 2021 (the "Announcement") in relation to, among other things, the Sale and Purchase Framework Agreement and the Disposal. Capitalized terms used herein shall have the same meaning as those defined in the Announcement unless the context otherwise requires.

As set out in the Announcement, a circular (the "Circular") containing, among other things, details of the Sale and Purchase Framework Agreement and the transactions contemplated thereunder and other information as required under the Listing Rules, is expected to be despatched to the Shareholders on or before April 21, 2021. As additional time is required to finalize certain information to be included in the Circular, it is expected that the despatch date of the Circular will be postponed to a date no later than April 29, 2021.
