Idea Bank S.A. (WSE: IDA) may have to sell around half of its assets if it cannot find an investor ready to boost its capital. Idea Bank may have to sell some of its assets if it cannot find an investor to boost its capital, news agency PAP said April 30, 2019, citing Jerzy Pruski, Idea’s Chief Executive Officer. Pruski said that finding an investor remains the main option for the bank's recapitalization, but if the plan fails, Idea will sell around half of its assets to cover the capital gap and will concentrate on leasing activities. Pruski said that several investors have been running due diligence at Idea, and the process could be completed in May 2019 or June 2019.
