IVE Group Limited completed the acquisition of Reach Media New Zealand Limited and Salmat Marketing Solutions Business from Salmat Limited.

IVE Group Limited (ASX:IGL) entered into an agreement to acquire Reach Media New Zealand Limited and Salmat Marketing Solutions Business from Salmat Limited (ASX:SLM) for AUD 25 million on November 25, 2019. The consideration is subject to customary net working capital adjustment on completion. Post completion, Marketing Solutions and Reach Media will form part of IVE's extensive production and distribution offering and will continue to operate as standalone businesses. IVE Group will provide transitional support services to Salmat, including the MicroSourcing business, post-completion until final separation takes place. The agreement is subject to the satisfaction of customary conditions and is scheduled to complete on January 1, 2020. The acquisition is expected to be accretive to earning per share in financial year 2020. Peter Dunne of Herbert Smith Freehills acted as legal advisor while KPMG acted as accountant for IVE Group. Evans Dixon Corporate Advisory acted as financial advisor to IVE Group. Moelis Australia Limited acted as financial advisor to Salmat Limited. Clayton Utz acted as legal advisor for Salmat Limited.
