Japan Post Holdings Co., Ltd. announced that Deputy President Atsuo Saka will be promoted to head of the company replacing Jiro Saito. Saka, 65, a former official of the Finance Ministry, served in various key government posts including assistant chief Cabinet secretary when Shinzo Abe, who is set to become Japan's new prime minister, was previously in office, before becoming the postal giant's deputy chief in 2009.
