Johnson Controls Inc : Johnson Controls Executive Named to Supplier Board of Governors

MILWAUKEE 23 January, 2014 - A Johnson Controls Power Solutions executive will extend his leadership to a key industry association.

Mike Carr, Vice President and General Manager for Aftermarket, US/Canada, joined the Board of Governors of the Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA) in January of 2014.

As a Board member, Carr will help the organization set strategic priorities, select annual initiatives and help manage financial decisions within AASA. His term lasts for three years.

"I am proud to join the board of an organization dedicated to advancing the automotive aftermarket industry's objectives through collaboration," Carr said. "I look forward to helping the industry continue to adapt to our customers' dynamic needs."

Carr was nominated to serve on the Board by AASA President and COO Bill Long, and then elected by the current AASA Board of Governors.

Carr joined Johnson Controls Power Solutions in 1992. Prior to assuming his current role, he served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing in both the United States and Europe. He was also Vice President and General Manager for the South America Battery Business and the Americas Recycling Business.
