Notice of Commencement for the Nomination to the Board of Directors
The Board of Directors is pleased to inform the shareholders that the nomination for membership of the Board of Directors of the Company shall start from Wednesday 15 February 2017 to Sunday 26 February 2017. Each person fulfilling the conditions of nomination for Board of Directors' membership may nominate himself or herself by submitting an application to the management of the Company at its registered office located at Abu Dhabi Mall, West Tower, 13th Floor and must enclose a brief biography of the applicant and the category of directorship for which he or she desires to be a candidate (executive member - non-executive member - independent member).
General Conditions:
The number of directors requested to be elected to the membership of the Board of Directors is 9 directors.
The nomination for the membership of the Board of Directors will remain open for 10 days from the date of the notice, as per the requirements of Article (40) of Resolution No (7/R) of 2016 concerning Corporate Discipline Standards and Governance Rules for Public Joint Stock Companies.
The candidate for the Board membership must fulfill the conditions stated in Federal Law No (2) of 2015 regarding Commercial Companies, Resolution No (7/R) of 2016 concerning Corporate Discipline Standards and Governance Rules for Public Joint Stock Companies and the Articles of Association of the Company.
The Company will publish the names of nominees and details of their nomination on the notice board at the Company's headquarters and on the Company's website (https://www.tabreed.ae) on 28 February 2017.
The candidate for the Board membership must attach the documents referred to in Article 41 of Resolution No (7/R) of 2016 concerning Corporate Discipline Standards and Governance Rules for Public Joint Stock Companies.
After closing the candidature process, the candidate may not assign his candidature to another person.
The Securities & Commodities Authority and the Market will be provided with the list of the nominees after the end of the nomination period.
