Nintendo Co. reported that Managing Director Tatsumi Kimishima will become president of the company to succeed Satoru Iwata, who died in July. After an extraordinary board meeting where the appointment was adopted, Kimishima, 65, told that he will stay on the path set by Iwata, including a capital and business tie-up with mobile game site operator DeNA Co.

Newly obtaining the representative rights, Kimishima will supervise the whole company, while Miyamoto will manage the creative division and Takeda will take control of the technology division.
