Günter Hauptmann to chair NORMA Group's Supervisory Board Maintal, Germany, August 26, 2020 - Today, the Supervisory Board of NORMA Group has elected the longstanding member Günter Hauptmann as its Chairman from among its members. He succeeds Lars Berg who resigns from his role as Chairman and member of the Supervisory Board with effect as of end of August 31, 2020, due to health reasons.

Günter Hauptmann is a member of NORMA Group's Supervisory Board since 2011, he chairs its Strategy Committee and is a member of the General and Nomination Committee. He brings with him comprehensive experience as manager and board member of international technology groups and automotive suppliers.

Lars Berg has been a member of NORMA Group's Supervisory Board since 2011 and took over as Chairman in 2018. 'All members of the Supervisory Board and the Management Board would like to express their thanks to Lars Berg for many years of commitment and trusting cooperation,' said Günter Hauptmann. 'Thanks to his professional foresight, NORMA Group was able to take important strategic steps that have a lasting impact on the company. With the resignation of Lars Berg, the Supervisory Board temporarily consists of five persons. Apart from Günter Hauptmann, the members are: Vice Chairman Erika Schulte, Rita Forst, Dr. Knut J. Michelberger and Mark Wilhelms. The search for suitable candidates to fill the vacant Supervisory Board member position has been started.
