The realisation of the wind farm will start within the end of 2015 and, from 2017, will lead to additional yearly revenues of more than 13 million Euro, with an EBITDA increase of about 10 million Euro.

Milan, 29th May 2015 - PLT energia SpA, an Italian industrial holding company operating in the field of renewable energies market with an yearly electric energy production of more than 200 GWh, announces to have acquired, by the company 'Parco Eolico LTD', the 100% of shares of the subsidiary 'Parco Eolico di Tursi e Colobraro Srl', special purpose company that owns the authorization and the tariff for the realization of a wind farm of 60 MW of overall installed capacity.

The wind farm will benefit from an incentive tariff of 88,90 €/MWh for 20 years - starting from the commissioning of the plant - according to the last GSE competitive auction of 26th June 2014.

Pierluigi Tortora, PLT energia CEO, commented: 'Through the commissioning of the wind farm Torre di Ruggiero (10 MW) next 15th June, the construction of Simeri Crichi plant (33 MW) and the acquisition of this significant project, the pursuit of our industrial strategy of growth is widely satisfied and will be combined with a strong focus on creating value for the Group, that will be able to look into the future with increasing confidence and optimism'.

The planned investment of the new wind farm, to be realised in Basilicata region in the municipalities of Tursi (MT) e Colobraro (MT), is of about 86 million Euro; the works will start at the end of 2015, while the commissioning of the plant is foreseen within the last quarter of 2016.

The plant will be composed of 30 wind turbines and will produce electric energy for more than 150 GWh a year - satisfying the energetic demand of more than 68 thousand families and avoiding the atmospheric emission of about 47 thousand tonnes of CO2 a year.

PLT energia expects, from 2017, additional yearly revenues of more than 13 million Euro, with an EBITDA increase of about 10,3 million Euro, following the commissioning at full speed of the plant and through the realization of this project the Group will achieve an installed overall capacity of more than 204 MW.
