BCA Named The 8th Indonesia Most Experiential Brand Activation 2015 for Master's Students Competition

Jakarta, 25 November 2015 - The competition program The 5th PPM Regional Business Case Competition - BCA's Employer Branding: The Challenge Ahead, held by PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) in collaboration with PPM School of Management, was named as the winner at The 8th Indonesia Most Experiential Brand Activation 2015. The award is given by MIX-Marketing Communications magazine for the contest/competition category. Division Head of BCA Research and Development Lena Setiawati received the award in person in Jakarta (25/11).

The 5th PPM Regional Business Case Competition (RBCC)
is a test of knowledge, skills, and experience of master's students focusing on the analytical skills of regional business case studies, Lena stated. Students from 26 ASEAN and Chinese business schools and universities participated in the event. In addition to benefiting master's students, the competition also aimed to promote critical thinking skills and passion for real world exploration in business. RBCC also served as a venue for executives to exchange innovative and original ideas in an academic setting.

'We are grateful that BCA could contribute added value to improve the quality of human resources in Indonesia through this program. Not only is this program beneficial, it also activate association with BCA as a brand in the minds of participants. Indonesia Most Experiential Brand Activation 2015
is an annual event whose goal is to advance activation of national brands and is in its eighth year this year. Winners underwent evaluation by juries comprised of brand activation experts. On top of the award, MIX Marketing Communications Magazine also outlined case studies of successful award-winning brands.

BCA won the award for the success of its program, and its ability to reach and attract participants from ASEAN and China, despite holding the event in Indonesia. The impact of this branding is vital for the program's merits and consideration. Additionally, regional competitions are usually initiated by foreign companies-the success of BCA as a local competition creator marked its success in regional branding.
'The awards BCA had received reflected our real efforts in establishing customer trust. We understand that customer and public trust is a key factor in the affirming customer loyalty to BCA. Hopefully this award can inspire other institutions to pay closer attention to their activation development through programs that add values to the Indonesian public,' Lena concluded.
