Jakarta, 3 March 2024 - Online services have become a necessity for banking companies today. This is the reason why PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) launched the myBCA application, complementing BCA mobile, which was initially developed.

As a mobile application that has been around for almost 13 years, BCA mobile is often considered an icon of digital banking services that suit customer needs. However, BCA sees the need to innovate without losing the spirit to continue serving customers without limits.

"BCA is customer-centric. We are witnessing rapid developments as our smartphones are increasingly filled with supporting applications. myBCA provides alternative features that are not available on BCA mobile," said BCA Transaction Banking Business Development EVP I Ketut Alam Wangsawijaya at BCA Expoversary 2024, ICE BSD.

Launched in 2021, myBCA is a BCA digital service with a myriad of excellent features to support customer needs. The features include multi-account access, security with face biometrics, access to account statements up to the last 5 years, financial diary, QRIS, Paylater, foreign currency transfers, and wealth management.

The various features available in myBCA make this application one of the customers' favorites for conducting transactions. Now, the number of myBCA users has reached 3.2 million. Throughout 2023, the number of transactions on myBCA will reach more than 3 billion transactions with an average of 360 million transactions per month.

Ketut emphasized that BCA always serves customers. This is reflected by the continued availability of the BCA mobile application despite the presence of myBCA.

"Why do we currently have two applications? This is to show that we do not immediately push customers to move. We want the migration process to happen naturally through a variety of features that facilitate customers and massive promos," Ketut concluded.
